Shelter Trust Global Resources Limited publishes five estate names, four office addresses and six named officers. It does not publish a registration number, and it does not publish a title document for any of the five estates. That gap is the practical starting point for anyone being sold a plot by the company, because in Nigeria the registration number and the title are the two things that decide whether what you are buying exists in the way it is described.

This is a profile of what is on the public record, what is not, and which registry answers each open question.

The five estates

The Shelter Trust Global Resources Limited website lists these schemes:

- Paragon Estate, Igando, Lagos State

- Tahir Estate, Epe, Lagos State

- Trinity Villa Park Gardens, Isiagu, Anambra State

- Home Land Garden Estate, Asaba, Delta State

- Seaview Garden Estate, no location given

Four states' worth of land across three state land administrations, plus one estate whose location the site does not state. For a buyer that last entry is not a minor omission. Until the state is known, there is no registry to search and no way to begin a title check.

The company describes itself as "a premier real estate company specializing in acquiring and developing prime landed properties around the world." No completion dates, plot counts, allocation status or survey plan numbers are published for any of the five.

The people named

The company's About page lists a board and a management team. Taking the names exactly as printed:

Two spellings of what looks like the same surname appear on the same page, Nwigwe for the chief executive and Nwaigwe for the executive director. Both are reproduced here as printed. If the two are related or are the same person recorded twice, only a Corporate Affairs Commission filing will show it, and that distinction matters when you want to know who actually signs on behalf of the company.

A company publishing the names and roles of six officers is doing more than many Nigerian land sellers of comparable size, and on that measure Shelter Trust Global discloses more than most, and that is worth saying plainly. It is a disclosure most of this market does not make.

Where the public record disagrees with itself

A Private Property Nigeria agent listing for Shelter Trust Global Resources Limited gives details that do not line up with the company's own site. The listing puts the year established at 2017, the address at Badagry Express, Lagos, and the phone number at 0706 451 1372. None of those three match the head office, the four published branches or the published phone number. The same listing shows zero active property listings on that platform.

That listing also describes the business as "an incorporated public limited liability company established under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria." The registered name ends in "Limited," which in Nigeria denotes a private company limited by shares. A public company carries "Plc." The description on the directory and the company form implied by the name are not the same thing. Directory listings are often filled in by the business itself years earlier and then left alone, so a mismatch of this kind is usually stale data rather than anything more. It is still a reason to take the registration details from a filing rather than from a listing.
