Brick Homes Integrated Limited: Lagos Town Square Projects, Partners and Delivery Record Checked

Brick Homes Integrated Limited lists ten projects on its own website. It marks eight of them completed between 2020 and 2024 and two, Orchid Town Square and Akowonjo Town Square, as ongoing. Independent sources back up part of that record. Press coverage confirms that Ikeja Town Square was commissioned in May 2023, with a state-owned corporation as partner. Other entries rest only on the company's word, and a few do not match what third parties published. This piece sets out what can be checked, what cannot, and where the public accounts differ.

Who the company is

The developer trades as Brick Homes and operates from Lagos. According to a company record on b2bhint, which cites the Corporate Affairs Commission as its source, Brick Homes Integrated Limited is a private company limited by shares under RC 679182, registered on 25 January 2007. The listed registered address is Pentagon Plaza, 23 Opebi Road, Ikeja, and the stated objects cover the construction of "houses, flats, shops." The record shows the company as active and not in liquidation.

The company's own About page says it has operated "since our establishment in 2003" and gives its office as 31 Jaiye Oyedotun Street, Magodo GRA. The two dates can both be true, for example if the business traded before it incorporated. But a buyer relying on the "over 22 years" claim should know that the limited company on the register dates from 2007. The office address on the website also differs from the registered address. Changing an address is common, but anyone signing a contract should confirm which address appears on the company's current CAC filings. A certified search on the CAC portal costs little and settles it.

Who controls it

The website names Olanrewaju Obisesan as Chairman. A May 2023 report on Nigerian News Note quotes Lanre Obisesan as "MD/CEO Brickhomes" at the Ikeja Town Square commissioning. Lanre is a common short form of Olanrewaju, but neither source says the two names refer to the same person, so we have not joined them.

The b2bhint record lists Obisesan Olanrewaju as a person with significant control holding a 50 percent share since 2023. It lists Obisesan Olanrewaju Junior as a director with a 10 percent share, and Obisesan Oladimeji as a director. The same page says four more officers are on file but does not show them. That leaves about 40 percent of the shareholding unaccounted for in any public source we could read. Because this comes through an aggregator rather than straight from the CAC, treat it as a lead and confirm it with an official status report.

The delivery record, project by project

Here is what the company's portfolio pages claim, with independent evidence where it exists.

Ikeja Town Square is the best documented. The project page describes a four-level retail and office building developed "in partnership with Lagos State Printing Corporation and Lagos Building Investment Company PLC (Mortgage Bankers)." Nigerian News Note reported on 25 May 2023 that the Lagos State Printing Corporation "in conjuction with Bricks homes" commissioned the building, with the special adviser on housing to the Lagos governor among those present. A board biography published by Ibile Microfinance Bank for Oluwatobiloba Lawal, a former managing director of Lagos Building Investment Company, also describes the project as one "between the Lagos State Printing Press and Brick Homes Integrated Limited." Three sources agree, and two of them are independent of the developer.

Lekki Town Square is where the accounts differ. Nairametrics published an Estate Intel analysis on 17 April 2023 that described a retail development "developed by Brick Homes Limited" on Providence Street and "billed for completion in Q3:2024." The company's own page marks the same project "Completed, 2023." Both could be partly right, for instance if the shell was finished before the fit-out. Still, a buyer or tenant should ask for the certificate of completion and fitness for habitation from the Lagos State Building Control Agency before relying on either date. The company's page says Lagos Building Investment Company Plc offers investors a mortgage facility on the project.

Magodo Town Square appears in the same Estate Intel piece as a Brick Homes development, but it does not appear on the company's portfolio page as we read it in September 2026. Alausa Height, a 148-unit housing scheme described in the Lawal biography as a partnership between "Lagos State Art and Culture" and Brick Homes, is also missing from the website. Neither source gives a status or date. These are open questions, not findings.

Title documents

None of the project pages we read mention a Certificate of Occupancy, Governor's Consent, or approved building plan. That does not mean the documents do not exist. It means a buyer has to ask for them. For commercial units in joint ventures with state agencies, such as the Ikeja scheme, the land may belong to the state partner. Regulatory and legal record

We searched for action by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the EFCC, LASRERA and the Lagos State Building Control Agency, and for court cases and published complaints naming Brick Homes Integrated Limited. We found none. We did not check court registries or LASRERA's register directly, so this is a limit of what we could search, not a clean bill of health.

What a buyer should request

- A current CAC status report for RC 679182, showing directors, shareholders and registered address

- The title document for the specific project, and the joint venture or lease agreement where a state agency owns the land

- The LASBCA certificate of completion for any building marketed as finished

- Written terms of any LBIC mortgage facility, directly from the lender
